2008 is the 3rd annual for the "Sou'Wester International Bike Rally". Building on the success of the previous two years, the organizing committee has assembled an impressive lineup of events and attractions, all for the benefit and enjoyment of the biking and non-biking public. This year most of the attractions will be situated on the Yarmouth Airport property and will include; venders, bike drag races,  Street Punishment Stunt Bike,  Bike games, food concessions, Kids inflatable's, Scott Bros. Timber Show, "Pocket Bike" races plus other attractions. Off airport activities include Bikini Bike wash, guided & un-guided bike tours, Geo-cache Ride, Dart Run, Show-n-Shine (downtown Yarmouth), Friday night "Welcome BBQ", Biker breakfasts and Saturday night waterfront activities. The organizing committee is completely volunteer and after each Rally, the committee decides on a local Charity to donate to. Last year the Yarmouth Hospital was the recipient of two oversized wheelchairs from the rally committee. So please, look over this website, mark the date on your calendar and plan on attending for the full 3 day event. You will enjoy yourself!

Why not see more of Canada’s Ocean Playground. Take a ride around the Cape Breton Highland, the closest you can get to Scotland without crossing the Atlantic. Enjoy a leisurely ride through the little towns of the Annapolis Valley. Sample a plate of Digby Scallops, fresh from the sea. Take a walk through Historic Properties of Halifax and visit the ‘Citadel” fort overlooking Halifax Harbour. Our coastline is dotted with small fishing ports and Loyalist towns, all easy to get to, full of “character” and history. If you like fresh seafood, Nova Scotia is the right place to be. Feel welcome and enjoy yourself here in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia Bike Rally
