Aug 2 -  4th Annual Truro Charity Poker Run, Reg. 10 am -12 pm,
Air Force Wing 102, Cottage Street, Truro,  If you go straight up
Prince Street, past DQ over the train tracks you take your first right
and there you will find the Air Force Wing Building - They will be
serving breakfast - at the end of the run will be a BBQ and a Band -  
Prizes for Best Hand, Worst Hand, Oldest Bike and Longest Distance

they fed 40 families at Christmas time.

Aug 2 - 7 - 8 Island Scooter Romp, meet in Pictou , N.S. at noon to
catch 13:00 ferry to P.E.I. then off to the Magdalen Islands in the
middle of the Gulf of Saint Lawrence - for more information contact

August 9 - 10 Berwick Cornboil - This is the 18th event held in
support of the Childrens Wish Foundation. Exit 15 off the 101 at
Berwick ..Go RIGHT and straight up the North Mountain towards
Harbourville. The Farm is on Barley Street. $20. for the whole
weekend...Camping...Corn....Fireworks....BIG

Aug 10th - 74th Crusaders Pet Food Run, Leaving the Annapolis
Royal Fire Dept at 1 pm, Ride to the Animal Shelter in  Digby
County, NS.  

August 10th - Coastal Drifters Memorial Toy Run.  The run begins
at 1 pm from the Barrington Lions Hall. For information: contat Doug

Aug 15 - 17th -  9th Annual Valley Shifters Motorcycle Rally, Fox
Mountain Camp Park, (near Aylesford,  NS) With a Live Band and
lots of games, rides, awards, meals, vendors, socializing, laughs,
raffles and a “Best Buns” contest with donations raised for the
Multiple Sclerosis Society. Also partake in our 2nd

and Dance/Party with Matt Minglewood. MC Run at McDonald’s
Sackville, New Brunswick, (free ¼ pounder). Meet & eat 12pm.
Leave 2pm. Go to Dorchester. Ends at The Civic Centre  
(Sackville Rink) where Draws & Prizes are drawn. Dance/Party with

Sept 13 - 1st Northern Stars of Nova Scotia - Group Ride - Poker
Run.  This will be something different.  Everyone will ride together
as a group from one destination to another.  Starting at Five
Corners Dartmouth at 8:30 - 9:00 the ride will be approximately
245 kms thru Chester, New Ross, New Minus, Windsor and back.  
Ride will be $10 - all proceeds will go to Bide Awhile Animal
Shelter.   Map will follow along with a poster.  Keep your calendars
open!   Rain date September 16th.

Sept 13 - Waverley Riders Toy Run - Reg. 10 am -11 am, Acadia
Hall, 650 Sackville Drive, Lr. Sackville, NS (across from Burger
King). The "Ride" leaves at 11 sharp - all ride together and end up
at the Cobequid Center in Sackville - Please bring a toy to
donate.

Leaves McDonald’s in Digby at 9am, with stops at McDonald’s in

Oct 4th - Cruise for Kids - Wellington Firehall, Waverley.  This
poker run is put on by all the clubs throughout Nova Scotia.  $10
will get you a poker hand - and there will also be a silent auction in
the Wellington Fire Hall - hosted by Q104.  More details will come
further into the season.
